ABOUT M. LEWIS DESIGNS

Mark A. Lewis has been designing scenery and lighting for 32 years in his hometown of Omaha, NE and Houston, TX.  A majority of that time was spent as the Technical Director/Resident Designer for the AD Players at the George, followed by 4 years as the Theatre Production Manager for the Stafford Centre. 

Mark was recently honored by being inducted into the Fine Arts Hall of Fame at his Alma Mater Hastings College. 

Mark has designed nearly 300 productions for many theaters in Houston: Dirt Dogs Theatre Co., University of St. Thomas,  Classical Theatre Co., St. John’s School, Klein Oak High School, Mighty Acorn Productions, A.D. Players, 4th Wall, Texas Repertory, TheaerLab, and Main Street Theater for Youth.

When not working in the theater, Mark enjoys travelling with his wife Marci, collecting a variety of Bourbons, visiting zoos around the country, and spoiling their dog Morty.

Mark's full time job currently is serving as the Regional Operations Manager for the Southwest Region of Broadway Across America, where he will celebrate 4 years this October.
